RARE POP UP CAMPERS
I have been searching for rare finds and oldie goldies Pop up Campers. On this page I will be posting photos and information on any brand of pop up camper that is 25 years old or older. It is very hard to find one of these marvels that is still in working order. If you have one and would like to share it here please let me know. All credits will be given to you and a link to your site if you have one. I always look for any copyright material, but if I have overlooked any just E-mail me and I will be glad to remove it. So sit back and relax and enjoy a part of history of Pop Up Campers.
1973 Coleman "Brandywine"
Pop Up Camper
This camper is in great shape to be 27 years old. I have 2 friends
name Jim and Bob of Wendell, NC that came across this camper.
Jim bought the camper, but Bob has feel in love with it, so I believe
Bob will be buying it from Jim. Bob is my fishing buddy, so by
knowing him as well as I do he will have this Coleman looking great
in no time. It is equiped with inside propane stove, sink, dinette table,
plenty of storage. Sleeps six and has carpet on the floor. Where the
new Colemans has structure board, this baby has real plywood.
Most of the cabinets are made of metal. I will be posting other pictures
at a later date.

Copyright 2001 Ó Pop Up Camping In North Carolina
|
For many of us that have been pop up camping for
a long time you may have seen The Nimrod. The only
information I know about this camper is that it was
manufactured in the 60's and the company went out
of business in the 70's.
This picture is of a 570 Calypso Nimrod.
I will try to find the year and if you have any info to add
please e-mail me !
